Mr. Kartick Biswas is the director of Uttrayan Financial Services Pvt. Ltd and associated with microfinance and capacity development related activities for the last 22 years. He is an expert in SHGs, JLGs, rural appraisal, finance, funds, operations and project monitoring. He understands & well manages business plan. He was part of the core team, which set up and built Uttrayan from inception. As the Head of Uttrayan, his role included building and growing the company’s portfolio in these sectors. He has good leadership qualities and can lead and represent the organization in all areas. He has enriched his knowledge by attending different programmes and seminars on this field organized by different leading institutions for institutional development. Training imparted from RMK, NMDFC- New Delhi, Planet Finance, EDA and Care India. He was recently selected to participates in the Harvard Business School - Accion Program on " Strategic Leadership on Inclusive Finance", Boston, USA. He is a certified participant in IIM-A SIDBI Programme on Challenges of Managing Inclusive Finance in India held at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabd during November 2017.He is also a Board Member of AMFI-WB.
Mr. Apu Dhar is a veteran in the microfinance industry with an extensive stint for more than a decade at the apex . He has extensive exposure in all areas of microfinance – field activity, finance, accounts , operations. He have attended different programmes and seminars in microfinance. He has specialized knowledge and experience in operation having capability to lead bigger teams. He is expert in delinquency management. He have also experience in providing training and works as a faculty member for in-house training of Uttrayan.
Mr. Choudhury is a Banking and Financial Services Professional with over 35 years of experience with UCO Bank. He led and managed corporate credit, treasury and investment activities of Bank. He was in charge of Industrial Finance Branch as Chief Manager and Assistant General Manager. He has immense knowledge in Banking and Financial sector. He also spent 14 years as Faculty member in several reputed Colleges and Institutions of India e.g. Bank’s Central Staff College and NEIBM, Guwahati. He is an extra-ordinary scholar and has magnificent academic records. He is a Post-graduate in Physics and done CAIIB from Indian Institute of Bankers. His last assignment was with UCO bank as Deputy General Manager.
Mr. Sen has retired as Sr. Vice President (Eastern Zone) from Axis Bank Ltd. He has worked as Zonal Head (East) of Retail Advances, SME Advances and Credit Risk Management. He has a vast experience in Financial & Banking sector with profound knowledge in Risk Management and modern banking & financing systems. He has more than 41 years of work experience in Banking & Financial Services especially in Risk Management domain. His educational qualifications are B.Sc.(Chemistry), B.A., CAIIB.
In Uttrayan, he looks after Internal Audit and Risk management.
Mr. Kanchan Chakrabarti, B.Sc (Hons), CAIIB, retired in 2019 as the Dy. General Manager of United Bank of India and has more than 32 years of experience in corporate credit and retail credit. He was the Member and convenor of different credit committees of the Bank. He occupied senior positions in the credit department as Senior Manager, Chief Manager and Asstt. General Manager at UBI head office, Kolkata. Besides, he worked as Nodal Officer of Bank in Corporate Debt Restructuring Cell in Mumbai. He was headed the Bank's first Retail Credit Hub in Kolkata and handled Housing Loan and mortgaged based trading loan. In April 2008, Bank nominated him for a training in NIBM, Pune for faculty members. He has passed the exams on the treasury management conducted by NSE. In Uttrayan, he extends his expertise in finance, accounts, credit and other control activity.
Mr. Prasenjit Chowdhury is a Non-Executive Nominee Director of the Company since 26th August, 2022. He was nominated to Uttrayan’s Board of Directors by SIDBI. He currently serves as a Deputy General Manager, Eastern Zonal Office, Kolkata, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).Having wide experience of over 25 years in Development Banking and worked in various capacities in branches and Head Office of SIDBI across the country. He was in charge of various branches of SIDBI, mainly looking after MSME Financing, NPA management etc. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering in Electrical (Honours) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He also holds CAIIB from IIBF and Certificate Course on MSME from IIBF.
Mr. Sridhar Venkata SubramaniaRallabandiis a Non-Executive Director of the Company. He has been a Director since 26th August, 2022. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He also holds CAIIB from IIBF and ICWAI Inter). He has more than 32 years experience in the Banking Sector Treasury management, commercial banking, retail banking, international banking and foreign exchange, credit analysis and credit risk management. He is former Chief Risk Officer in Laxmi Vilas Bank for 2 years. He has 21 years experience in Axis Bank as President. He started his career with State Bank of India and worked for 9 years as JMG and MMII.
