Mr. Kartick Biswas is the Director of Uttrayan Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. and has been associated with microfinance and capacity development-related activities for the last 24 years. He is an expert in SHGs, JLGs, rural appraisal, finance, funds, operations, and project monitoring. He understands & well manages the business plan. He was part of the core team, which set up and built Uttrayan from inception. As the Head of Uttrayan, his role included building and growing the company’s portfolio in these sectors. He has good leadership qualities and can lead and represent the organization in all areas. He has enriched his knowledge by attending different programmes and seminars in this field organized by different leading institutions for institutional development. Training imparted from RMK, NMDFC - New Delhi, Planet Finance, EDA, and Care India. He was recently selected to participate in the Harvard Business School-Accion Program on "Strategic Leadership on Inclusive Finance," Boston, USA. He is a certified participant in the IIM-A SIDBI Programme on Challenges of Managing Inclusive Finance in India held at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, during November 2017. He is also a board member of AMFI-WB.

Mr. Apu Dhar

Mr. Apu Dhar, the Executive Director of Uttrayan Financial Services Private Limited, has played a significant role in raising the company to its current position since March 25, 2009. He has more than 24 years of experience working in livelihood and microfinance programmes within the self-help group movement. He received his degree in Arts from the University of Calcutta. He has a wealth of knowledge in operation, finance, accounting, and retail activity. He exudes optimism, energy, friendliness, zeal and practicality. As a member of the faculty for in-house training, he has extensive experience in microfinance projects and training programmes.
Mr. Bijon Kanti Chowdhury
Non-Executive Director
Mr. Bijon Kanti Chowdhury is a banking and financial services professional with over 35 years of experience with UCO Bank. He led and managed corporate credit, treasury, and investment activities of the bank. He was in charge of the Industrial Finance Branch as Chief Manager and Assistant General Manager. He has immense knowledge in the banking and financial sector. He also spent 14 years as a faculty member in several reputed colleges and institutions of India, e.g., Bank’s Central Staff College and NEIBM, Guwahati. He is an extraordinary scholar and has magnificent academic records. He is a postgraduate in physics and has done CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Bankers. His last assignment was with UCO Bank as Deputy General Manager.
Mr. Anindya Sen

Mr. Anindya Sen has retired as Sr. Vice President (Eastern Zone) from Axis Bank Ltd. He has worked as Zonal Head (East) of Retail Advances, SME Advances, and Credit Risk Management. He has vast experience in the financial & banking sector with profound knowledge in risk management and modern banking & financing systems. He has more than 41 years of work experience in banking & financial services, especially in the risk management domain. His educational qualifications are B.Sc. (Chemistry), B.A., and CAIIB. In Uttrayan, he looks after internal audit and risk management.
Mr. Kanchan Chakrabarti
Non-Executive Director
Mr. Kanchan Chakrabarti, B.Sc. (Hons.), CAIIB, retired in 2019 as the Dy. General Manager of United Bank of India and has more than 32 years of experience in corporate credit and retail credit. He was the member and convener of different credit committees of the bank. He occupied senior positions in the credit department as Senior Manager, Chief Manager, and Assistant General Manager at the UBI head office in Kolkata. Besides, he worked as a nodal officer of a bank in the Corporate Debt Restructuring Cell in Mumbai. He was headed to the bank's first retail credit hub in Kolkata and handled housing loans and mortgage-based trading loans. In April 2008, the bank nominated him for training at NIBM, Pune, for faculty members. He has passed the exams on treasury management conducted by NSE. In Uttrayan, he extends his expertise in finance, accounts, credit, and other control activity.
Mr. Sridhar Venkata Subramania Rallabandi

Mr. Sridhar Venkata Subramania Rallabandi is a non-executive director of the company. He has been a director since 26th August, 2022. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a master’s degree in business administration. He also holds CAIIB from IIBF and ICWAI Inter. He has more than 32 years of experience in the banking sector, including treasury management, commercial banking, retail banking, international banking, foreign exchange, credit analysis, and credit risk management. He is a former chief risk officer in Laxmi Vilas Bank for 2 years. He has 21 years of experience in Axis Bank as president. He started his career with the State Bank of India and worked for 9 years as JMG and MMII.

Uttrayan Financial Services Private Limited is a Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC-MFI) registered under Reserve Bank of India(RBI). We started our microfinance on-lending operation way back in the year 2001 with its head office at Kolkata(West Bengal), by providing small ticket size loan to the poor woman in rural and semi-urban area through group based system. Our Company provides livelihood promotion services comprising of livelihood and other Micro financial services to those population segments which are mostly un-reached by the formal banking systems with the principal purpose of promoting sustainable livelihoods.
We are one of the few MFIs in West Bengal who have partnered with State Bank of India in their prestigious and coveted project of “Co-Lending” .The limit sanctioned to us is 300Cr. Thus enabling Uttrayan to pass on the benefits of lower interest rate for Loans,as low as 19.45%(Blended) currently to our ultimate beneficiaries(Borrowers) .The opportunity has been spread across our network of Branches in 10 States catering to our 1 Lakh plus clients.
Over 23 year of Financial Services present across 10 States and 74 districts of India. Uttrayan now working in 117 branches spread over 10 districts of West Bengal,9 districts in the state of Assam, 16 districts in the state of Bihar, 1 district in the state of Meghalaya, 12 districts in the state of Odisha, 2 districts in the state of Sikkim, 3 district in the state of Uttarakhand ,8 districts in the state of Punjab, 6 district in the state of Jharkhand, 8 districts in the state of Rajasthan India, where we are providing services to more than 1,00,000 clients to make their way out of the poverty.
